Wolves search second Premiership victory.

I remember the taunts that Leicester fans gave us in the final game of last season. A 1-1 draw with little at stake for either team, the visitors already promoted, and the opposition fans boasting about never seeing us again this season.

Well
Cardiff sorted that.

Now, ironically,
Leicester are 1 point below us and propping up the Premiership table.

Tomorrow is a big game for both teams.

A relegation 6-pointer we have to be honest, the sort of game where we have a realistic chance of victory.

Team news from Molineux isn’t promising. Inspirational captain Ince looks unlikely to be involved as well as the injury prone Kennedy.

However, our new found resilience and
Leicester’s slide down the table have to be good omens for making real progress.

Leicester
made significantly more summer signings than ourselves and some of them even play for the first eleven!

However,
Leicester have found life in the highest division as tough
as ourselves. A solitary victory, albeit a 4-0 thrashing of
Leeds, is their only 3 point haul.

Our defence, which seems likely to be without Super Jo now for the majority of this season, is almost watertight. Only one goal conceded in the last three games is testament to the fantastic progress made by
Butler and Craddock in the centre.

However, we’ll need our forwards to be on top form to take whatever chances, probably at a premium, come our way.

I think that Jones will stick with the same starting eleven that battled so well at Fulham. The
4-4-2 formation gives us better shape and opens the possibility of scoring the all important goals to edge us to a vital victory.

Leicester themselves will see this as a great opportunity for the three points.

Being familiar foes we know what to expect of each other. It’s going to take a bit of magic, hopefully from Henri Camara, to make the difference.

As long as Dickov doesn’t dive his way to earn a penalty I can’t see us losing the game. As to if we’ll get all three points well that’s down to Miller and Blake to take their chances.

Come on the Wolves!
