Transfer activity goes into overdrive once again.

Well Wolves are springing surprises on us every day now.

Having seen the negotiations start with Sunderland over the possible transfer of Jody Craddock, today we have a new name to conjure with.

Henri Camara, another African plying his trade in the French league, has been touted as the next new face in at the Molineux. A pacey right-winger, he would seem like a replacement for Shaun Newton.

Add these names to those still in the background, Baggio, Kameni and Iversen, and that’s potentially five new players in total.

I can’t say that I’m surprised, as we needed some serious reinforcements to give us an outside chance of proving the bookies wrong.

As well as this, the Molineux Mix’s own man in the know, a.k.a. St. Luke, is tipping us to run the rule over Latvian star - Maris Verpakovskis.

Add to this planet football’s story that Pius N’Diefi reckons that Wolves have approached him, and it seems we’re taking this a bit more seriously now.

With some cash being touted round for Craddock and Camara, Wolves seem to be digging into the promotion war chest to mix players with Premiership experience and those with a lot to prove in the best domestic league in the world.

Therefore, it seems that it will be very much a new look team when the season kicks off in 18 days time at Ewood Park.

More developments seem sure to follow.
