Boro set to pile on the agony.

Well, our once proud home record is in tatters after three consecutive home defeats and I personally feel that tomorrow’s visitors to the Molineux are going to extend our winless streak.

Boro are in fine form since lifting their first piece of silverware in March and are an outside bet for that all elusive 4th place in the Premiership.

After huffing and puffing against Bolton last Monday I yet again cannot see where the quality is going to come from to unlock a patched up Boro defence.

Alex Rae will return from suspension, to replace the inept Cameron, but that’s about all I expect on the squad change front.

Although the forward pairing of Cort and Camara looked good at Eastlands, they struggled to make an impression against a more compact Bolton defence.

With relegation a near certainty now it remains to be seen how the players will approach this game mentally. With only five more games this season I feel a few of them will have an eye on their next contract more than likely away from the Molineux.

Hopefully Okoronkwo will be given a third consecutive game as he’s looked a bit like Lescott in the last two games without quite having Super Jo’s all round qualities.

The game up at the Riverside earlier in the season resulted in a bad tempered 2-0 defeat marred by the actions of Danny Mills who should have been sent off several times. As to whether the Wolves player’s will remember that and look for retribution remains to be seen.

However, the quality of Mendieta and Juninho undid us on that day and for all their tireless running Ince and Rae don’t have the vision of their more notorious midfield counterparts.

Although Boro aren’t a high scoring team they are solid and Steve McClaren will know that three points will edge them closer to an automatic place in the Champions League safe in the knowledge that a UEFA Cup spot is already assured.

As for Dave Jones, well not surprisingly he looks like a tired man. It’s been a long uphill battle all season and we’re finally slipping back down it into the Nationwide.

I can’t see it being an inspired performance from us given recent form and the circumstances so once again it could prove to be an unhappy 90 minutes at the Molineux once again.

However, a final last hurrah for the terrifically loyal home fans wouldn’t go amiss at all!

Come on the Wolves!
