Wolves followed up the £1 million signing of Kevin Cooper and the loan signing of Jacob Laursen by loaning Gunnar Halle from Bradford City, to help in the run-in for a Premiership promotion place.
The former Norway International, has moved to Molineux for the rest of the season, along with fellow Scandinavian defender Jacob Laursen, who was loaned from Leicester yesterday.
The 36-year old, capped over 60 times by his country, mainly plays at right-back and will almost certainly fill in for Kevin Muscat while he is suspended for the games against Burnley, Manchester City and Millwall.
The former Oldham and Leeds star said: "I only found out about Wolves’ interest yesterday. I was having a meeting with the chairman and manager about my contract when they told me that Wolves wanted to sign me on loan until the end of the season."
Halle added:"Now I’ve moved from one end of the table to the other and these are obviously exciting times at Wolves."
Wolves fans will hardly be screaming Halle-lujah! (my apologies for the pun) in the streets at the signing of two 30+ defenders, but defensive cover is what we needed and hopefully, these two players, who have been reliable in the past for their previous clubs, can do a good job for us and help us secure that automatic promtion place.
