Everton gaffer David Motes said "We missed an opportunity to get another two points but it was another clean sheet and I don't think we played badly. We created a lot of opportunities but didn't finish them off. We had two or three good opportunities in the first 10 minutes and I thought overall we were the most likely to get a goal."
"Certainly defensively we did a good job. Kevin Doyle was in good form and we kept him really quiet. I expected a scrap but overall I thought we defended well and limited Wolves to very few, or no, opportunities and created quite a lot ourselves."
Sylvin Distin said "There was a bit of frustration straight after the game for us but maybe when we look at it we will realise we are still on a good run. We feel we have to keep the form like we are now until the end of the season and, if we deserve it, we will get it. Source PA
