Doyle has ruled himself out for at least another month with a medial knee ligament injury although he is hoping to return in the summer and play three internationals for the Republic of Ireland.
But winger Kightly is confident Wolves have enough back-up firepower via the likes of Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and record signing Steven Fletcher.
Kightly told Press Association Sport: "It is a blow to lose Kevin but we've got other good players at the club that can come in and do good jobs.
"None of the boys are thinking `we've lost Kevin, we are not going to win a game`.
"As good a player as he is, we feel we can adapt to that and we need to step up to the plate and do that now."
