Simpson Hasn't Applied

The former Wolves player has stated that he has not applied for the post made vacant by Dave Jones' sacking earlier this week.

"It's news to me and I'd be surprised if it were true," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.

"I haven't thrown my name into it because I'm happy where I am"
