Scunthorpe Fan Review Plus Photos

Friend opened the scoring on 16 minutes after good work from Keogh and Vokes which ended up with a deflected shot going past Scunthorpe keeper Williams. They equalised in the 39th minute before Friend played in Andy Keigh for the second Wolves goal three minutes from Half time

Wolves were still thinking about their half time cup of bovril as Sscunthorpe made it 2-2 on 47 minutes
Greg Halford restored the lead after heading in Matt Jarvis' pinpoint cross, before Halford secured the win with a 25 yard free kick in the 86 th minute

As usual the diehard Wolves fans were there (this time just 191) and Wolves mad regulars Sweeneywolf (the all time no.1 poster on Wolves mad) and sargi_wolf made the follwoing comments

Sweeneywolf -  First half, very little to get excited about. Midfield ran around alot but didn't impress themselves on the game and towards the latter part of the half Scunny were the better team. Good goal line clearance from Big George ( whose distribution hasn't got any better). Hahnemann made some good saves and looked solid. Zubar a bit hit and miss.

Second half they decided to pass it on the floor and playes some good moves.
As Sarge said, Halford looked impressive, nice assured touch. Vokes missing in action. Friend did OK. Stearman who had had a steady first half had a bit of a mare in the second.

Bring on Torres, Adebayor, Rooney and the rest ( NOT ! )

sargi_wolf just got back from match ,wasnt bad halford played very well looked a bit sloppy at the back and got caught out a bit did seem mick was resting a few of the lads tonite overall a good warm up
