Postma signs loan deal till January

Contrary to reports yesterday Wolves have today signed Stefan Postma of Aston Villa on loan until January. The keeper comes in following a 'keeper crisis which sees Paul Jones and Matt Murray on the injury list, leaving Michael Oakes as first choice keeper and reserve keeper, Carl Ikeme as cover.

On signing at lunchtime today Postma commented,
"I'm happy to be here - it's what I wanted. I always wanted to be somewhere where I can play football. This is a great club and it gives me the chance to get some games under my belt."
"The team has started very well and will be competing for a place in the top two which is what it's all about."
"The manager has told me that I have to compete with the other four keepers here and I'm willing to do that."
