"Jay had looked good all week in training and I knew he would be a good sub. When I sent him on I told him to score us a goal.
"He has got fitter and stronger as the season has worn on and he got his just deserts.
"It was a terrific win and it has moved us up the table again, but I am not looking any further than our next game at Coventry on Tuesday.
"But we are in a good position, only a point behind Sunderland and everyone says Sunderland will go up automatically. Maybe we can tag on to their coat-tails."
