Striker Kenny Miller had a great chance to give Wolves their first three points of the season but his late penalty miss meant that Leeds travelled back to Yorkshire with a share of the spoils.
"I felt we should have won but I can't ask any more of the lads - they are all digging deep," the Wolves boss told the clubs official site after the goalless draw.
"We needed a break, got it, but didn't take advantage.
"What was out there was all we've got, but we will get stronger."
