Hoddle Rumours Played Down

Media reports had suggested that Hoddle was on the Newcastle shortlist to replace Graeme Souness but these rumours have been dismissed.

Bookmakers have apparently slashed Hoddle's odd's of taking up the post at Newcastle from 40/1 to 3/1 second favourite behind Sam Allardyce over the past few days!!
