Leon Clarke's first goal in five-months fired Wolves into Monday lunchtime's fourth round draw, nuch to the delight of the Wolves boss.
"It was a job well done. We kept a clean sheet and I was delighted with the performance," Hoddle said after the game.
"There are a lot of teams who would swap places with us now we are in the fourth round. The only disappointment was that we didn't put Plymouth to the sword with the amount of possession that we had.
"But it was pleasing to see Leon score after going so long without a goal and that will do his confidence the world of good."
