The midlands club are awaiting the results of the tests on former skipper Henry who was substituted after only 19 minutes of the Barclays Premier League encounter.
Henry has only just returned to the side after serving a three-game ban for his red card against Aston Villa and is a major doubt for Saturday's relegation clash with Blackburn.
Caretaker boss Terry Connor said: "We don't know how bad it is. We'll see what the scan shows.
"Obviously it was bad enough for Karl to come off straight away. There's clearly some damage.
"Fingers crossed he'll be OK. Hopefully the injury was caught it in time and maybe we can get him back on the pitch sooner rather than later."
Connor admits Wolves do not have another midfielder in the mould of the tenacious Henry who was replaced by playmaker Nenad Milijas at Craven Cottage.
He said: "Nenad is a very good midfield player, but he isn't the same type as Karl.
"Karl will be a big miss if he's out because he brings some defensive stability to our midfield."
