"Wayne was unlucky with the first goal. And he made some fantastic saves so no one is blaming him at all," Elliott said.
"He made some saves which he had no right to make.
"That's two defeats in a row now so we need a big result next weekend.
"It's hard to pinpoint what went wrong although we did make a few mistakes, which hasn't been happening recently.
"When you concede three goals in the first half it's always going to be difficult.
"We've just got to get our heads up for the weekend now because it's another big game.
"This is always a busy period and if you can pick up points it stands you in good stead for the rest of the season.
"Other teams will drop points as well and it's just up to us to get back on track as soon as possible."
