The club's administrator, Bryan Jackson, will now decide whether to accept the offer for the Scotland Under-21 international.
Dundee chief executive Harry MacLean would not confirm where the bid had come from but it is believed to be the Molineux club.
"If there is a sensible bid, and the type of money we are talking about is reasonably sensible, then the administrator will decide," MacLean told BBC Scotland. "The chances are Leigh will have to leave the club in the near future."
