McGarry guided Wolves to the Uefa Cup final in 1972 and was in charge when Wolves won the League Cup in 1974.
His second spell in charge of Wolves was less successful and he lasted just 9 weeks in charge during 1985.
There will be a minutes silence in memory of McGarry when Wolves entertain Stoke City at The Molineux on saturday.
His funeral will take place on the same day in South Africa, where McGarry had been living for the last few years.
