Speaking yesterday the right back turned right midfielder said "Whether we've been home or away in the last couple of months it hasn't really affected us. We've still gone about our business and were unlucky at Bolton in our last away game and played well against Manchester United. We've given a good account of ourselves, both away and against some big teams at home, and hopefully we will carry that on this weekend."
"We won't be taking Burnley lightly by any means. They are scrapping just like us to stay in this division. It's going to be a tough game and probably even a bigger one than Manchester United. But we'll go there full of commitment and desire and looking to take three points from the game."
"It's not about putting anything right although we played badly at Burnley last season. It's just about the here and now, going up there being solid and taking our chances when we get them."
