Wolves midfielder David Edwards thinks the demands of the fixture list for the Premier League's top teams are a key factor behind the number of upsets so far this season in the top flight. Edwards netted the winner as Wolves saw off mega-rich Manchester City at Molineux on Saturday, following on from West Brom's win at Arsenal and draw at Manchester United and Blackpool's victory at Liverpool. The former Shrewsbury and Luton man told the Express and Star: "I think (the big teams) are more beatable this season than any other season because of the intensity of their fixture list. "The lower teams are really closing the gap on how good they are. "In the past you had the bottom three or four teams who would never get a result against a big team. But I think the Premier League is now getting a bit closer and that is good for us."
