100% Better Says Gray

Wolves went in at the half-time interval 1-0 to the good at The Stadium of Light on Tuesday night but after the break the home side upped the tempo, eventually winning by a flattering 3-1 scoreline.

"Goals affect confidence and there was suddenly a bit of belief and the performance was 100% better than last Saturday against Gillingham," caretaker boss Gray said after the game

"Things have been a bit low, but our performance during the first half was very encouraging.

"In the second half, we gave the ball away a bit too cheaply and the goals they scored we didn't put enough pressure on them."
